What
does a 1st time traveler to Africa think when they see
"Monkey Gland" on a menu? If we were home
in the US we would know that they aren't actually serving
monkeys but in Africa? The land of the extend menu that
includes Zebra, Kudu, Crocodile ...one tends to wonder.
After a funny exchange with the waiter we determined
that no monkeys were used in making the "Monkey Gland
Sauce" on the burger. We being true monkey lovers, we
decided to try a monkey gland burger and much to our
surprise we enjoyed it. |
